The women, most of them over 70, are members of a singing group.
They were the surprise winners of Russia's choice of the Eurovision song contest.
They call themselves, translated, the "Buranovo Grannies." The women come from the remote village of Buranovo.
So how is it that a group of not-so-young women singing old Slavic folks songs beat out 24 other professional acts in Russia to represent the country.
The women started singing together in 2008, and Eurovision will be their first international breakthrough performance.
The Eurovision finals will be held in Azerbaijan later this Month.
