If you have a teenager that's on the phone a lot, we have them beat. We think.
Five couples in Latvia have made history by running their mouths.
The couples set a new guinness world record by talking on the phone, for a really long time. Specifically, for 54 hours and five minutes.
It beats the old record set in Switzerland of a little more than 43 hours.
During the record attempt, couples sat in separate areas set up in a shopping mall.
Judges were nearby to make sure no one stopped talking or fell asleep (we don't know what kept the judges awake).
Participants had to submit the topics of their chat and stick to them. The subjects ranged from the universe to childhood memories.
