Mac & Mac's Pick: Whale Harbor

This is the time of year that thousands of whales gather in the vicinity of Hawaii.

But twice this week, a couple of whales decided to swim into Honolulu harbor.

The captain of "The Henry Senior" reported two juvenile male whales followed him into the harbor around 11pm Thursday night.

They were last spotted around 5am Friday morning still swimming around.

This is the second appearance of the whales at the harbor.

On Thursday, a mother and her juvenile spent about seven hours thrilling spectators before leaving .

Officials are keeping a lookout for more whales and are trying to keep a 100-yard safety zone around them if they are found in the harbor.

Whales typically congragate around Hawaii through March.
