What do you do with an odd shaped piece of glue that kind of looks like Homer Simpson? Sell it on Ebay for $239,365.

It's not known if that is the actual price that will be paid for this strange and unique item.

Owner Chris Herbert says he found the glob of glue sticking out of an old glue bottle. He says he is blown away by the fact that people are willing to pay for the glue glob.

"That's just bizarre really, I mean it's quite surreal. I can't quite believe someone actually decided that they will pay two-thousand pounds for a piece of glue," says Herbert. "So I'm just amazed, so I'm very, very please, I'm happy. I don't know what I will spend the money on, but yes amazing it's been very surreal."

On his Ebay page, Herbert says he is entertaining several offers for the glue, including 500 camels and all t he parsnips he can eat... a piece of toast that looks like Elvis... and a Porsche.
