ALLEN, TX. -- Allen, Texas has a population of 84,000.
The city's high school football team --the Allen Eagles --plays it's first game next Friday night in the new high school stadium.
The stadium - which boasts a video scoreboard, artificial turf, a multi-level press box, a weight room, a wrestling room and seats for 18-thousand fans - opened yesterday with a pep rally and introduction of the 2012 team.
Admittedly, Allen Texas is a wealthy suburb of Dallas where household income in twice the national average...but the 60-million dollar cost of the stadium has raised some eyebrows...mostly from non-residents.
The football coach says he figures they'll fill the stadium for most games.
