ROANOKE, TX -- They say a good airplane landing is any one you walk away from.

What we're about to show you...is by that definition...a good landing. Maybe it's not such a good landing by your standards...

The place is Roanoke, Texas on Saturday.  Student pilot William Davis is practicing a landing...while his wife, Kandy, shoots the video.

It's obvious he's coming in a little low....when he clips the top of an SUV while trying to land.

Frank and Heather Laudo were in the SUV. Heather suffered only minor injuries.

The federal aviation administration is investigating.
