LEICESTER, England -- The British, it seems have located the remains of King Richard III in a parking lot.
According to Shakespeare, Richard III was an evil child murdering monster who clawed his way to the throne by guile.
Then again, history is written by the victors.
Since Richard was killed in the Battle of Bosworth, he did not get to tell his side of the story.
At any rate, searchers have found a skeleton where a Greyfriar's Abbey graveyard used to be in Lester, England.
The skeleton showed battle scars and physical signs including severe scoliosis that suggest it could be Richard.
As it turns out, Richard had surviving relatives 500 years later including a Canadian wood worker.
That is what happens when the family is no longer in the king business apparently.
Anyway, DNA testing is planned.
No word on where Richard might be reburied.
