PENSACOLA -- Here's a way to celebrate a birthday...jump out of a perfectly good airplane.

Not an easy trick for anyone; but, if you're celebrating your 90th birthday, it could be a little more difficult.

But Marion Stangler of Pensacola, took her celebration to new heights.

Friends from her retirement home were on the ground to cheer her on.

Her reaction when she landed: "I thought the 'chute would never open."

Then there's 80-year-old Gillian Lindt who went skiing in Alta, Utah this weekend.

Gillian had been a regular here in her twenties and thirties, but went blind 10 years ago.

Now, she's skiing again, directed by a volunteer by radio who tells her when to turn.

She says she still sees the mountains in her memory...but she's skiing them for real again.
