BUCHAREST, Romania -- Your mom always said to finish your vegetables...
This was no side salad. It weighed 21 tons!
It is now certified as the biggest salad in the world.
Volunteers tossed in six tons of tomatoes, four tons of cucumbers, and two tons of carrots among other ingredients.
When the salad was complete, it was served to the public.
The salad beat the previous world record set in Greece by about six tons.
No word on the dressing, if any.
