MELBOURNE, Austria -- A goat took Police on a wild chase in Melbourne, Australia Monday.

That in turn, caused traffic delays and surprised onlookers... some of who had cameras.

The goat darted in and out of traffic with police in hot pursuit, while animal control officers tried to catch it using nets.

This should teach us that a goat can run faster than a police officer.

After holding up traffic the runaway goat headed for a nearby park.

No one knows where the goat came from, but it's believed it's the same one spotted in two locations around melbourne last week.

The goat was eventually captured and taken to a local shelter, where staff have nicknamed her "houdini".
