CEDAR RAPIDS, IA.-- In Cedar Rapids, Iowa, a group called the "Five Ski Seasons Ski Team goes water skiing.
The fifth season must refer to ice.
With water temperatures floating around 30 degrees, about a dozen skiers flew across the river.
Admittedly, they say the spectators think they're nuts.
They say team work -and the right equipment are crucial in dangerously cold temperatures, because you need to get out of the water really quickly if you fall in.
There's an extra boat to pick people up just to be on the safe side. The performance attracted a lot of attention, and team hopes a few donations.
It's a way to get the team together, and know that any skiing this spring and summer has to be better than this.
