NORTHBROOK, Ill -- Max has been saying he was going to retire--for 30 years. And he was 72 then.
Now, Max is 102 years old and can't put off retirement anymore.
Max Fabian has been working for AZ Industries in Northbrook for four generations. Before that, he was a Chicago police officer and before that he served in the military.
It's likely Fabian was the oldest working person in America.
On Tuesday his bosses decided to throw a big party for all his years of dedication.
Fabian's work at AZ Industries included making bank deposits, picking up and delivering mail and keeping watch over the warehouse.
They decided to name the foyer after him.
