Robbery Suspect Arrested

Peoria Heights Police have made an arrest in connection with an October armed bank robbery.

Stephen Lee Holden, 53, was arrested Saturday after police received information regarding the Peoria Heights Bank Robbery.

The bank's surveillance video showed Holden allegedly enter the bank on October 25th and hand the teller a written note.

Police say the note implied he had a weapon and gave instruction to hand over any money that was in her drawer.

Holden is charged with armed robbery and theft.
