Heather Cassady is returning to her high school alma mater. Cassady is today named the new basketball and softball coach at Dunlap High. Cassady leaves Richwoods after just one year as basketball coach leading the Knights to an Elite Eight spot in Class 4A.

Frank Williams' son impresses at Richwoods' Shootout
Da'Monte Williams is an incoming freshman at Peoria Manual. This weekend, the 6-foot-1 guard was among the impressive players at the Richwoods' Summer Shootout. Da'Monte is the son of former Peoria Manual and University of Illinois all-American, Frank Williams.

Parr twins are both big league draft picks
Justin Parr is drafted in the 8th round by the Phillies and Jordan Parr is drafted in the 15th round by the Diamondbacks. Fellow IVC grad Chris Razo goes in the 24th round to the Brewers. Normal Community grad Chad Hinshaw goes in the 15th round to the Angels.
