Hi! I'm Cody Salem. I had this video cut about 2 months ago at the Water House in downtown Peoria. It's the first time I've ever been to a taping, so I was nervous & excited at the same time, but it really was a lot of fun!
I love to sing and act. I am active in local theater including Corn Stock Theatre & Peoria Players Theater, both located in Peoria.
Currently, I am acting as a "Mentor" for a program called "The Penguin Project" based out of East Light Theater in East Peoria. It's a unique Theater based program that enables children with developmental disabilities to fill the roles. These children are the "Artists". As a Mentor, I simply help them along with remembering their lines, rehearsing, singing, dancing, costume changes, etc. I'm looking forward to assisting with this years upcoming production of "High School Musical 2"!
I have a few pictures attached. One is taken after a Lip Sync contest that I was in, where we sang and danced to "Imma Bee" by the Black Eyed Peas. The other two photos were taken during & after a Talent show that I competed in.
For a bit of background information about myeself..... I am 13 years old and I am a 7th grader at Edison Junior High School in Pekin, IL. I enjoy watching baseball and football in my free time. I am also active in the Edison School Band, the Edison School Choir, Edison School Speech Team, and I play the Saxophone.
