Singing to make the world brighter!

I have been singing since I was about 5. My dad would play guitar and I would sing songs from Bob Dylan and various other greats. I have been in countless musicals, choirs, etc, but never have I had the opportunity to sing, just me, on stage, and share my story through my music. I love to sing because no matter how tough the world can be, music can lift your spirits. I love singing music I have written, and I look forward to the day I can share it with the world.
I have devoted a great deal of my life to helping those in need. The event that had the biggest impact on my life is when I visited Guatemala in 2008. I translated for a free medical clinic at a children's school in a small village where poverty was profound but love and hope were even more so. I saw how music could lift a child's spirit, even when faced with the most severe circumstances, and this simply affirmed for me that I must keep music in my life.
I love being a mother and watching my family grow, but music will always hold a special place in my heart. vote for me and help this twenty something singer/song writer make her life long dream finally come true!!
