Midwest Sweetnote Cowgirl Barbie

Hi, I'm Londie Benson (aka Sweetnote) from East Peoria, IL. The song you're listening to is me singing a bit of Willie Nelson's "CRAZY." I've always loved singing and have enjoyed being in several local bands including Ray Hanlon & The Midstaters at the Hub Ballroom. I sing "fulltime" now out of my computer room. A few months ago I was privileged to be the online Hostess of www.TODHD.com Kelsey Grammer's & Corbin Bleu's internet site for Karaoke. It was not a paying gig, but more of an opportunity to showcase the talents of people in the US and around the world. That experience has also given me more confidence as I did all my shows LIVE and did a LOT of online singing! I am married and I have two beautiful daughters who live and work in Hollywood. I spend most of my time up at www.singsnap.com/sweetnote looking for new talent to promote or just singing. My daughter's got together and decided I needed to at least give the Central Ilinois' Got Talent Show a shot, and so here I am! I also tell everyone I'm 90 years old. That way they always say, "You sure look great for your age!" I sing a variety of music including R&B, Country, Pop. The name Midwest Sweetnote Cowgirl Barbie stems from my days on Twitter, where I can be found when I'm not singing. I have over 8500 people following my attempts at humor and information. The other skill that I'm noted for are my drawing skills. My biggest claim to fame was having drawn 12 drawings commissioned by Andre Dawson while he was still with the Cubs. Guess that about covers it! Thanks for wanting to know a bit about me. Hugs SWEETNOTE
