West Peorias' "Haddads" Ablaze In 2011

I was just passing along to you that a long time popular Grocery Market has been on fire for almost 2 hours now (it is now 1:07 am on New Years'Day. It is called Haddads' Market and it is on the corner of Rohmann Ave. & Sterling in West Peoria!! Very Scary Scene to take in, alot of bursts and things blowing up! Over 6 fire trucks from all over, trying to put this monster of a fire out. It upsets me, and everyone, who reside in the close-knit city of West Peoria. We will miss you!

Jennifer if you read the news story, they owner said he deffinitly plans on rebuilding, and as is the case with most industrial fires, they had already begun tearing the building down within 8hrs of the fire.

I hope they have a chance of rebuilding. My 4 year old said, "Oh NO, where are we going to go now to get our ice cream?" It was such a wonderful place to go and they always made you feel welcomed! They will be missed by everyone all of ages!!!
