After 6 months of deployment to Kuwait David Bales is finally returning home tonight. Even though the Peoria Air National Guard unit that deployed this summer was able to return home before Christmas, they had to leave 2 of their guys behind. One of them my husband. I would like for him to feel the appreciation of his community for making the sacrifice to be away from his family to go and serve his country. He arrives tonight on United Flight 5980 at 854pm at the Peoria airport.
