Sometimes you feel like a Nut!

Springtime Friend Loves Peanuts

John Hohulin's new retirement pastime feeding the birds and squirrels. One day last week he tried to scare this female squirrel away from our bird feeders and she would not budge. So he got her a peanut she came right down and ate it. The next day she climbed right up on his lap and took the peanuts right from his fingers. She arrives daily between 9-9:30 am for her peanut feast. We recommend you only do this with caution as she is jumpy and could bite like any wild animal. Squirrels do not see head on so she could mistake a finger for a peanut. But she is a joy to watch!
