Black Rock at Kaanapali Beach, Maui is believed by the locals to be where spirits go to "jump off" from this world to the next. Each evening at sunset a ceremony is held paying homage to the sun, lighting torches, throwing a lei into the ocean, then diving in. This particular evening's sunset was spectacular.
