The Peoria Area Tea Party is hosting another rally on Friday, June 3, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00pm at East Peoria's Veterans Park on Springfield Road. This event is an opportunity for those who missed out due to the horrific weather and tornado that hit the area on April 15th. Even with driving rain and cold winds and a nearby tornado, nearly 200 patriots still showed up at Liberty Park in Peoria on April 15, 2011. However, having expected at least 1000 people, vendors, speakers, musicians and other participants were disheartened at the turn-out. So we're having a "Re-TEA!" Randy Stufflebeam, John Bambenek, Lex Green and Brian Costin are all planning on returning for our event. Again, we have live music. Local artist, Aaron Michael and Chicago Rhythmn and Blues musician, Bill Ward, are playing for us. Freedom-Fighting organizations Illinois Policy Institute, Heritage Foundatino, Americans for Prosperity, Illinois Family Institute, and other groups will be on site with petitions, information and literature. FREE Pocket Constitutions for all!! We have food and children's activities as well. So please come and spend the evening with your local Tea Party! Our emphasis is education and inspiration.
Tea Partiers cross the River!
