I went to the riverfront like thousands of others this evening to celebrate our independence and try to photograph the event. After saying the pledge of alegience and the singing of the natonal anthem the display began. It was spectacular and non-stop to the point that the smoke had not always cleared before to next volley of rockets lit up the sky making it difficult to take good photographs, and at times I was mesmerized to the point that I forgot to take photos at all.
