Festive cookies and hot chocolate awaited carolers after Peoria's annual Courthouse Christmas Sing. Hosted by the Central IL Landmarks Foundation, The Friends of the GAR, the Peoria Historical Society, and the Peoria/Metamora Civil War Dance Society whose historically costumed members entertained with period dances from the 1800's, this complementary yearly event has become a great way to share the beauty and importance of this historic structure with the public.
