Fried the egg on the driveway.

Breakfast is ready!

Jerry and Pat Vietti suggested to grandson, Jacob, that it might be hot enough to fry an egg outside. Since he studied the Scientic Method last year in school, he set up the "experiment". He measured the temp on the driveway --110 degrees plus. We pre-heated a black nonstick frypan on the driveway first and cracked the egg into it at 1:30 pm today--Thurs 7-21-11. He checked the cooking progress every 15 minutes and took a photo of it. We called it done at 3:30. The clear white albumen turned into a sugary substance and the yolk was a hard yellow blob. No one would 'try' it...........not even the dog.
