It is that time of year that many Monarch caterpillars are on milkweed plants. Milkweed is the only plant that the caterpillar can eat. The eggs are laid on the milkweed plant. There are four stages in the life cycle of the Monarch Butterfly and finally they emerge as a beautiful Monarch Butterfly.
