The 47th annual State Fiddle Contest, hosted by the Illinois Old-Time Fiddlers Association will be on Sun October 16, 2011. This event will be held at the Keller Convention Center in Effingham IL, starting at 1:00p.m. Admission is $5/children 8 & under admitted free. For rules, online registration, or all other info call 217-682-3208 or 217-273-2482 or visit our website at www.illinoisoldtimefiddlers.org. We are hoping to have contestants of all ages and from all areas in the state of Illinois. If you play a fiddle, please check this out and join us. Our purpose is to preserve the old fiddle music and pass it on to future generations.
