Green Gables Furniture Bradford, IL. burning Sunday Jan 22. Rt 40 was closed from approximately 7:30AM to 1:00PM. Winds from the south sent thick heavy black smoke throughout the town of Bradford. Local police went door to door seeking anyone in town who may have had respiratory problems due to the smoke from the fire. As of 3:20PM firefighters are still on the scene using heavy equipment to knock down still standing portions of the structure and put out hot spots.
