Hi,
As farmers plow up those fields and seed, the wind has had an impact on drying it out before the rains, and some of that drifted into the upper atmosphere causing the interruption of what we see between us and the moon. In order to show the true colors of it, had to diminish the surface of the moon, you see in the second photo. These were enhanced, by contrast and shadow from my digital camera. I also used a tripod and shot with analog (film) and cable release to get what I hope on my 600 mm lens will be quite interesting to see. I'll be glad to post them later. Moon detail is difficult to shoot, but by using a bracketing on camera, you can generally find one that is great. With digital, you can can those you don't like. Enjoy.
