A partial Solar eclipse took place today. Although Peoria was not the ideal spot to witness the eclipse, we had about a 15 minute window to view it. Given that the eclipse start time would be around sunset, I managed to scout a spot with a western clear view of the sun near Rave's movie theater. It was tricky, clouds everywhere and only a 10 minute window to take a decent shot. With the help of my son who was holding the welder's glass to the camera lens I manged to take these shots. The with a more orange hue was taken without welder's glass.
