The clouds eclipsed the Sun as the partial solar eclipse began in Central Illinois. Fortunately, the Sun broke through the clouds before sunset allowing us a view of the partial solar eclipse.

Hi Jeff! I was travelling, some 100 miles from Joliet on NB I-55. It was very stormy out, but I was travelling on the western edge of that storm and that's how I got to see the sky. The sun was right under a cloud bank. Thanks for submitting it!
