I stopped in Peoria Heights today at their Memorial Day event. It was enjoyed by all. This is a family that saw their little brother participate in the ceremony. He is a member of the Central Midwest Young Marines. The age starts at 8 and when you graduate from high school, you do not perform with the group.
The sisters were very patriotic with their red, white and blue. They both had flags and patriotic flowers.
I am glad that I happened upon the event.
