As I drove into Eureka today, there was a large fire in the old Libby's Cannery. I was told it was a 6 alarm fire. A fire truck followed me to Eureka. Only one person was taken to the hospital. Water was still being put on the buidling and wood behind the building 5 hours later when I left town. The firemen did a great jop getting it under control.
