As dry as it's been, the scattered lightning flashes and trailing rumble of thunder were enough to make one hopeful. Anticipating that rain was soon to follow, I grabbed my camera and captured a few shots of the rolling clouds and diffused lightning patterns, in the skys looking south, over Morton. Photos captures with a Canon Rebel T2i, ASA 400, 18mm lens at f/3.5, 1 second exposure hand held.

I went out southeast of town to take some shots. Grabbed a few good ones there. I'm a Nikon guy... Thought you used to be.. ;-)
