Spring is considerably later this year than last year. Snowdrops are a tough little flower; they push their way from tiny bulbs through frozen ground and are the first blooming flower of spring(really late winter). Last year I had some blooming in my southern flowerbed the end of January. It took a little longer this year for them to make their appearance, but here they are at last!
