The most common question about my GT350 is; "Is it a real Shelby?" Yes, it is: serial number 1746 of just over 2300 Shelby Mustangs built in 1966. The history is documented back to the original factory dealer invoice. I bought it in 1998 from a guy who successfully vintage raced the car for 10 years on the West Coast. The car is stock, except for a few minor upgrades such as seats and shifter, including the original stock 306 HP 289. No show car, I take this out on a regular basis and don't mind the "patina" that goes along with a car that is driven. Like a wooden roller coaster, it is neither comfortable nor quiet. But it sure is fun.
Yes, it's a real Shelby.
