This 1927 Model T Ford touring car was my dad's first car, bought in 1940. Our son learned to drive it at the age of nine on dad's pasture. We have fully restored it to the condition it left the factory in and drive it all over the country. This photo was taken in the Utah desert in the summer of 2004. The top is up because it is in the afternoon, and the temperature is over 110F! To celebrate my retirement in 2006, we drove the T from Peoria to Clear Lake Iowa, particpated in a 500 mile national tour of Model T's, then drove to the Bridges of Madison County before returning home. The car never missed a beat!
