What a great way to end the year for Illinois basketball -- a WIN over Minnesota. The 3 senior players said their goodbyes. Chris Hicks said he had his childhood dreams come true by being on the team. He thanked everyone. Then an impersonator Chief Illiniwek showed up at half time. The crowd went wild. That was a great way to say goodbye to the seniors who had played on the team with the chief being a big part of Illinois athletics. He was banned last year by the NCAA. We didn't care that this one was a fake. He was great!
