Scoping The Eagles

Watching Eagles

Most any springtime day in Central Illinois you can find a gathering of eagle watchers along the bluffs and valleys of the Illinois River. Some come just to watch others come to take photographs. This particular nest seems to have three eaglets. The parent eagles are very attentive, bringing in fish, ducks and other wildlife to feed the babies. Occasionally the male eagle will bring a stick to the female.
