Brother, Daddy, Me and Mom

My Daddy and My Hero

I would have to say my Dad is the greatest Dad ever because He is there for me no matter what. My Dad is my favorite person to be around, my best friend and above all my hero. He served His country for 20 years in the United States Coast Guard. He has given up so much for us to have the life we do. I once asked Him if I was a mistake, this was His answer, "If you were a mistake, which you are not, you were the best mistake I ever made." My Dad picks me up when I am down and always gives me the honest truth. He has tought me to keep my morals and taught me about our religion. If I need to talk, I turn to Him. It kills Him to see His little girl grow up, but I will always be His. My Dad is the best Dad a girl could ask for. He protects me, loves me and cares about me. Without Him, I wouldn't be who I was today. He is a father to my friends, who don't have a father like mine and I don't mind sharing him, because I know everyone deserves to have a Dad and be Daddy's Girl. I love my Daddy more than anything in the world and one day I am going to follow in His foot steps. I told Him once that at my wedding, for the Daddy-Daughter dance, I would play our song "Stealing Cinderella." He told me I couldn't and curious me asked why, He said "I can't let you see me cry, so I would have to walk out of the room." That shows me that I have the best, most courageous, loving, proudest, military Dad in the entire world. I love you Daddy.
