This beautiful Tree Swallow with its Steely blue-green-black colors above,and clear white below has taken over one of our bluebird houses here at our place in London Mills, in the country.
Taken Sunday, June 8,2008 around 3 pm.
Their normal habitat is open country near water, marshes, meadows, streams, lakes, wires. Roosts in reeds, nests in holes in dead trees, snags, and birdhouses.
