I know everyone says their Dad is the Best and I am sure they are all right. My Dad is the best because He has always, in every situation, been honest with me and tried to guide me down the right road...even when all I wanted to do was go down the wrong road. With all His love and support through the years He has held me close and never let me go! Walking me down the aisle was one of the proudest moments of my life, the quiver in His chin when He saw me melted my heart. I couldn't imagine my life without Him...He has brought me up as His very own "little girl"! My Dad came into our lives when I was a small child and immediately became our Dad. What an incredible Man to become a Father of 6, with 2 of his own, and it seem as though He was a gift from God. I thank God everyday for this Man who never, not one time, thought of any of us as His step children...only His children! I asked my Dad to adopt me when I was 18...they asked me what I wanted for Christmas and that was what I wanted. I wanted to be His Daughter...for real. Even though I knew in His heart and in mine that I already was...I wanted everyone else to know how much I deeply loved Him and appreciated Him always being there for me. I remember the scrapes, bumps, and bruises...my Dad always being there to pick me up, dust me off, and give me that hug that never compares to anyone elses...Daddy's hug. My Dad is the best, because He is like no other Man I know and I love Him more than I could ever express in words. Thank you God for my Dad, I know it was you who sent Him.
