Helicopter Herding Goose At Lakeland Park

Geese banded & counted at Lakeland Park

Today was the day for the annual banding of the new geese at Lakeland Park in Canton. They use a helicopter to drive the geese into a pen so each one can be checked out, counted, banded and released. You can see in the photographs that the geese are not hurt in any way and it is the only way to get an accurate count of the geese.
