Local Business Owner Appears on Bethenny

Local Business Owner, Kindall Nelson, recently returned from a trip to New York City to tape a segment on the daytime talk show, Bethenny, starring Bethenny Frankel.

Producers contacted Ms. Nelson after the Journal Star printed a story about her journey from homeless mom of four to small business owner who still volunteers at the food pantry that used to serve her family of 5.

"In May of 2012, I went to an event sponsored by WCIC called Single Moms' Morning Out. At the time, the kids and I were living in an RV at Spindler Campgrounds and I did not have a job. We were stuck. After asking for prayer at the event, I went back to the RV and told God, "I don't know what my real job is supposed to be, but until you tell me, I'm going to put an ad online to clean houses." A year later I went back to the same event and told them I was hiring. God has answered my prayers in ways I couldn't even imagine."

Kindall's business, Hire A Housewife, has grown from a single-person operation to one that employs six people part-time in 2013. They specialize in cleaning, organizing, cooking, shopping, errands and events.

The show will air on Wednesday, December 4th at 3pm on WHOI 19.

I've known Kindall since middle school. Even as a young lady she was always kind and strong in her faith. Proud of you Kindall!
