A severe thunderstorm hit Canton around 5:30am this morning. When the storm woke me up, I noticed there was enough hail to fill the cracks in my drivweway. Many large branches and trees are down. Some landed on homes, cars, and utility lines and blocked several roads. The radio tower at WBYS on the south end of Canton was blown down though it appears the worst damage is in the area Avennue B to Dean Ct and Ash St to Birch St.
The video and pictures I have are from the storm that hit around 7:00 am. It wasn't near as bad, but very ominous.
