Rod enjoys spending time in his 1950's soda shop, which he created in the basement of his home in Eureka. Making ice cream treats for family and friends sure does put a smile on his face. He even wears a replicated 1950's Soda jerk outfit when entertaining said family and friends. On the above mentioned day he created the Skyscraper Banana Split. It is created in a tulip sundae glass. Pour 2 ounces of chocolate syrup in the bottom of glass. Add 1 scoop vanilla ice cream. Split one banana lengthwise, then cut in half. Place Banana quarters in each corner of glass. Add 1 scoop chocolate ice cream to keep bananas in place. Pour strawberry topping on chocolate ice cream. Garnish with whipped cream and a cherry on top. Serve to family or friends and enjoy.
