A Road Trip - with these gas prices?!?!

Mom, Dad, Becky and Grandma packed up the mini van and took a road trip to Washington D.C. and the Delaware coastline in July!

We spent 3 days in Washington D.C. going to the Smithsonian museums, the Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam Wall, the White House, the Holocaust Museum and the Bureau of Printing and Engraving. What a great learning experience for all of us!

Then we went to the Atlantic coast in Fenwick Island, Delaware. We never knew that Delaware had so many fields of corn! We spent 4 days on the quietest beach around.

We collected shells, lounged on the beach, and had a wonderful time getting knocked over by the waves!

What a great vacation!
