While vacationing in southern Wyoming I stopped by Lake Louise, in the Snowy Range Pass, west of Laramie. The lake is at 11,000 ft and the mountains tower about 1000 ft above the lake itself.
I took this shot in the early afternoon and although there were snow drifts around the lake that varied from 2-4ft deep the air temperature was in the 70s and people were walking around in shorts and t-shirts.
