The first week of August found our family vacationing in the city of Kansas City, MO. At our hotel, we were one of four rooms that were not there for the American Idol auditions taking place that week!!! On the way, we stopped and visited with Great Grandma and Grandpa in Sumer, MO. We then visited the Kansas City Zoo and the Science City at Union Station where we saw our very first IMAX Movie!
