This summer Rebecca rode her touring bike across the state of Iowa with more then 10,000 riders, logging over 540 miles in one week. During one day decided to do the extra mileage and ride a century 100 miles. While traveling into the small towns warm welcomes were heard and hearty meals were being served. Started on July 20 with a dipping of the wheel in the missouri river and ending on the 26th of july with dipping wheel in the mighty mississippi.
Iowa isn't a flat state. 20,000 plus feet of elevational climb that week.
Riding with Illinois Valley Wheelm'n helped Rebecca get in shape for this great summer vacation.
